Q1. What is 4D ultrasound? A. This is the latest ultrasound technology adding time, the fourth dimension, to a 3D image, which results in a moving 3D image of your unborn child.
Back To QuestionsQ2. Where can I get a 4D ultrasound scan? A. We offer clinics across the UK. Find out where is nearest to you at
clinic locations. Please note we will be opening clinics in some new locations in 2006 which will be announced very soon!
Back To QuestionsQ3. Are there risks involved in 4D ultrasound?A. None at all.. Ultrasound examinations use sound waves in the production of images and there is no evidence suggesting that Ultrasound presents any risk to the mother and/or baby.

Q6. At what stage can I have a 4D scan during my pregnancy?A. Our scans are suitable during several stages of pregnancy, please check our
scans for more details
Back To Questions Q7. Can I bring the family with me for the scan?A. Yes. There is parking and we are able to accommodate 3 other people within the ultrasound scanning room as the procedure is taking place.
Back To Questions Q8. Do I still need to attend for my hospital scans?A. Yes. 4D scanning is not part of your "normal" antenatal care. Hence the 4D scan should not replace any hospital appointments.

Back To Questions Q10. What if an unexpected abnormality is found?A. Any abnormality that is found will be explained as fully as possible to you. If you request so, we will liaise with your GP or maternity unit to pass on this information.
